Elder Payne's Last Email!! He will be home FRIDAY!

Its me again Elder Payne!

Life is good as it can be! Its weird that its my last email. Sometimes I don't know what to think. Ive got that scared feeling I had when it was close for me to go on my mission. It was a sweet Weekend. The Harber missionaries had a baptism, and we were able to get Brian and Leeann there! The members did really well helping with there kids since they have two 14 month twin girls and a month old baby. They have there hands full! I kept telling her when she gets baptized! Then they came to sacrament! They can't wait till they are 18 months then they can take them to nursrey! Even though they are not reading and praying, I think they know they will be baptized! Tonight we are going to have dinner with them! Well this week is going to fly by so fast! Tomorrow is pretty much my last day. Prepreation today, then on Wednesday we have meetings in the morning and in the evening. See ya'll on Friday! Thanks for everything ya'll do!

Its me again Elder Payne!

Life is good as it can be! Saturday was the first weekend we got to work and it felt great! It was zone confence then general confrence. So it felt great having all day Saturday to work! We didn't get many lessons, but it was productive, and we got some apointments set up for this week. Its going to be a sweet week. Hopefully its going to be warm till I get home, because I shipped all my winter stuff home! So I hope ya'll get a package this week. Last week we went go carting, and lazer tagging! It was so fun and different! Especially driving the go carts!
We taught Mary Ankerberg, and I think she's understanding it a little better. I think she does have her own small Testimony of the church, Hopefully she will for sure know after she gets baptized. I'm hoping to see her get married before I leave, but the divorce won't be final till another month. We get a ton of set apointments, but a lot of them don't go through. Its so disapointing. Then we meet some of the nicest people, and they are not interested. Well thats pretty much about it. Thanks for all ya'll do!

Its me again Elder Payne!

Life is good as it can be! Easter Sunday was good with general conference. I really enjoyed President Monson talk at Preistood session. I enjoyed his funny stories! Elder Holland was pulling a President Monson with his funny comments. Haha! As tired as I am from being on a bike I sure was ready to get on one after sitting for 2 days straight! The jist of the conference was teach your family the gospel for sure. Mary Ankerberg watched some of conference from home. She said she liked the teaching of a mother's role and how important it is to fullfill it. We were not able to meet with Brad this week. When we were leaving his house it started pouring down raining, and I was drenched in minutes. Hopefully most of the rain will hold of for another month.
I was planning on getting rid of my white shirts, and 2 pairs of my slacks. I want to try and go to the temple on Friday before I get released if possible! If ya'll can ask the Bishop what he wants me to speak on and how long that would be great. Since Im speaking my first Sunday back. Don't forget to tell President Seal, and all my friends!
On Friday we had a sweet lesson with a less active watching Tried In All Things. Its the story of the 3 18 yr old boys helping the people cross the river. Telling the importance of Enduring to the end and the blessings you receive! That is for sure one of my favorite talks! The Spirit was so strong that night!
I know that the church is true, and the blessing we receive as we follow the council of the Prophet. I know, and nothing else matters.

Its me agaim Elder Payne!

Life is good as it can be. I had my last zone confrence. President Merkley talked about artifacts that are in the Book of Mormon. We read from 1Nephi 15-17. We also watched a video called Journey of Faith. I never thought about looking into the history of the Book of Mormon. We also learned about how to talk to people and making it unified where we are both talking. I was the only one that had to give my departing Testimony. It was hard to realize that it was really my turn to go. We did find a way sweet new investigater that night also! Brad is way sincere! He's going to come to church next week, and it was totally sweet when our exchanged bore Testimony!
Its probably going to be really close to when I come home before I can send my winter stuff home. The weather can't make up its mind of what it wants to do. Its supposed to be sunny all this week! Im excited for that! We have a district meeting with President Merkley this Thursday. We found a few good potentials last week that we are schduled to see this week. I hope it will go through. We see a ton of miracles of setting up appointments, but they don't go through. Well I reckon thats about it for this week! Thanks for all ya'll do!

Its me again Elder Payne!

Life is pretty good! It was in the high 60's Friday, then it started icing Saturday afternoon. It pretty much snowed all day yesterday, and now its high 50's and 70's tomorrow. Thats Arkansas weather for ya! Church was cancelled, and I was so disapointed. We were in the house all day! We were out for about an hr, but nothing went through. It was a long boring Sunday. The only excitment was that I took a nap. Luckily I was able to sleep that night.
I met with the new ward mission leader. He was in the Bishopric before he was ward mission leader. He would always come into our missionary meeting. So he's pretty familar with the calling. He will do good. Elder Barton is a good missionary. Its going to be a sweet transfer. He's probably going to be Sr comp after I leave. So he will probably be here for 6 months or so. President Merkley is leaving Sr comp in areas from 6 - 7 1/2 months. Zone conference is this Saturday in Bentonville. Its going to be so sweet! Well thats about it. We did quite a bit of service this week, then plus the storm. So we didn't seem like we did as much this week. Thanks for everything!
