It me again Elder Payne!
Life is pretty good! Mena seems like a pretty good area. Population is of 6,000. Its a good area to bike in. Pretty much all day Saturday it was snowing, but luckly it didn't stick! It was pretty cold. I think its suppose to get up to the 80's this week Im excited! And suit coat season is over till November! Yes!! Elder Hawkins is cool! His bithday is today, mine tomorrow, and Sister Parham (the people we live with) is on the 4th. So thats pretty cool! The branch is pretty cool! Our Elder's Quorm President doesn't go out of the manual. He talks about whatever seems to be needed. It feels like Im in a class at school. Its pretty cool. They asked me to get up and bear my Testimony, then most likely they will ask me to give a talk. Can't wait till that is over! Haha! It was so hard to leave Osage! There was some people that I really got attached too! Ive gotten the Pennys package but not yours yet. Hopefully tomorrow. The members we were eating with stuck candles in our cake and sang happy birthday to Elder Hawkins and I. I had a flat tire for the first time since I was in Bartlesville, and now Im probably going to have to change the other one. I have to air it up everyday. Thanks for the tubes Karan! They are useful right now! I got Nicole wedding invitation last week. I'll have to write her today. On Tuesday after the funneral we went and saw Ron Moyer! He read 2nephi 29:7&9, and told he knows now for sure that the Book of Mormon is True! I almost had tears, because I was so happy! He was probably the reason I got to stay in Osage an extra transfer. Well Ya'll takecare!
Love Elder Payne!
P.S. Tell Karan don't send the things I asked for quite yet. We use the members stuff. So I rather wait till my next area. Thanks Karan! Love You!!
