Its me again! Elder Payne!
Everything is going well! Ray and Cherie were at church yesturday, and they said it was nice. We watched the Restoration with them, and they liked it! They both accepted a date for baptism! Aug. 10. Were going to try and get a couple of people to come with next time we meet with them so they can get to know some people of the ward. So that will be good! Anjunea the black girl; shes moving into our area, so we get to keep teaching her. Shes going to get baptized July 12th. And get this! AnJunea read the whole Book of Mormon in 3 Hrs! Thats Insane! It takes me like 15-20 min to read a chapter everyday! The bad news about her is that we just found out today that she smokes. So were gonna have to be a little sneaky and go over the word of wisdom again. Yesturday we visited a guy named Dick, and he is a dry mormon. He probably belives everything, but he won't get baptized. Hes the funniest guy! He will always put the tv on mute but won't turn it off. He tells his wife its not bothering them. Lol! Dick grandson was over there with them, and he was telling us about how he always helps his dad. It took me down memory lane, and I told him that was me till i left for my mission. We get the car back this week, so that will be good for when we need it. Tomorrow my companion has to go to a meeting in Tulsa, so ill be spending the day with the other elders across town. Be over at there apartment at 5:30 AM! So it will be a early morning.We fasted yesturday, and We live on the 14th block and we had to ride down to the 2nd block then we had to ride up to the 21st block for our dinner. Haha We had no energy going to dinner. But dinner was so good! We have a window unit for air conditioning, and it works pretty good since our apartment is small. The lowest we can turn it on is 72 and the 80 when we aren't in the apartment. I did get a new watch at fossil. The bad news is that I crashed and burned on my bike when i was going through the water. I slipped on the alge. I busted the cover on my watch. Im going to try and get a new cover for it. So hopefully i didn't waste my whole money on it. Also when i crashed I ripped my black slacks! So will send me my size for them, and i can try and find some more here. Or if you send me a new pair from Mr. Mac don't get me black ones. I need a little bit of color since i don't have a big verity of clothes to wear. I have gray ones i can wear at the moment. The good news about the slacks from Mr. Mac is that i can wash them with my regular clothes. I forgot to ask President Seal if i could look at my blog. I got the package the middle of last week.
