Its me again Elder Payne!
Life is pretty good! The Luthern church went good I guess. They are studying different religions. Doc Petterson in our ward always trys and share the gospel. So he got us in. We taught a Restoration, and answered a lot of questions mostly. Before they have sunday school they have coffee and donuts. Haha! I wouldn't mind having that sometimes. Haha! One time when we were at Doc Petterson and he started calling all his friends saying " I have themissionaries over. Do you want to come over and hear a message?" He doesn't mess around. We do get Ensigns, but there always a month after. No service really either. I wish we had some! I still need to call the mission office to tell them to call Bartlesville and send my package. Were trying to get somebody to do the sign up for splits at nights. Haha! I got spoiled on dinner and splits every night. Ricardo was going to come to priesthood, but he got called into work. Were going to meet with him this week and set a date. We had one investigater come to church. Mary Smith, shes like 24. We taught her thes top smoking workshop. She gave us her pipe for weed! The pipe was pretty cool looking! It comes out of sharpie pen! I was on exchanges with the district leader. His companion bike was left from another missionary, and it is so small that I had to pretty much ride standing up the whole time. I got a work out on my legs! Confrence was good! It sure was a long 2 days! Haha! I was having a hard time staying awake in the Sunday afternoon session! Gas is 2.89 here! What is it for ya'll? Where are ya'll going for ya'lls anniversary? Theres a talk I want ya'll to look up and send to me.I think its called "Three Young Men Rescue the Martin Handcart Company" It was in the magizine at christmas time a few years before we moved to utah. It has a pic of a young man carrying a boy across the river. I have a pic of it on my camra. Im going to send the card tomorrow. By the way Prepreation day is on a Tuesday next week for us. Well I think thats about it now.
Love Elder Payne!
