It's me again Elder Payne!
My week was pretty good. Had my last exchange for this transfer. I was with my district leader; Elder Burnham in Indepence Kanas. It was a good day there. The family we had dinner with works for John Deere. So it was fun talking to him. They gave me a John Deere bag and a small lunch box. So that was way cool! The lady name is Latrica, and she came church, and liked it. Her daughter Anjunea wasn't able to come because her son got sick. They are actually in the 2nd ward area, so were gonna have to turn them over to the other elders. Im disapointed in that. Elder Davis and I meet Ray Sanders, and taught him about the Book of Mormon. He told us about his past, and how much better he is now. He used to drink smoke and do drugs! Now hes clean from all of that. I have a good feeling about him. Last night after planning my compain and I turned out the lights and opened the door to listen to the rain. It was way cool! It is also still raining. We did a service project Saturday morning, and moved a lady stuff into a storage unit. It seemed 90% of the stuff was junk, and most of it was ruined from the rain getting in from the guarage. Later today we are going to the mall to get haircuts, and I will also go to Fossil. The lady that is doing our hair does it for free, because shes a member. We go to her house every Tuesday for dinner, and I haven't been there the past two weeks, because ive been on exchanges. Elder Davis and I are still doing well. We have our ups and downs, but were doing well. I still like him. Hes not Lyle, where we will stay best friends i don't think. On the days we don't have meetings and stuff. We get up at 6:30, and exercise for half an hr. I mostly do push up sit ups and stuff. Im probably going to buy a rubber band thing for working my arms better. From 7-8 we eat and get dressed. 8-10 we have our personal and companion study. 10-12 we go out and try to see people. Come back for an hr to eat lunch. Then 1-6 we go and see people. Some of that we use for traveling and talking to people on the streets. Then will do our Power Hr in that time. Which is we go knocking on a street. We have dinner from 6-7 with members, and that is always good having a home cooked meal. Then from 7-9 we usually have set appointments, and we usually have an exchange with us. So the evenings are usually the best part of my day.9-9:30 we go home and plan for the next day. Then from 10:30 we pretty much relax. Haha That always feels good. I'll send my planner home so yall can look at it when im done. Yesterday was the first time ever for me having to go up in sacrament meeting and give the closing pray. Haha Wasn't nervous till I got up there. Bought a pair of suspenders, so I wore those all day yesterday. Haha! It was sweet. I was in a hurry when I wrote ya'll that letter, so I forgot to use the stamped ones. When I said write Love dad; i meant sign it with a pen. Got the package on Thurday. I like my new helment, I do feel cooler! Haha! or at least i think. I really like the water bottles. I use those first before i use my camell back. Its been some what windy the past few days. So thats me kind of nice for staying cool, and for exercise. I always try and ride hard for exercise! My bike is doing pretty well. I can probably do a few things to make it better. I really like my finders! I can go through water no problem. Well got to go! Talk to Ya'll later!
Love Elder Payne!
